GBS was a 'Class Struggle' Themed Author, Supporter of Stalinist USSR [and denier of the famine], Fabian Socialist, and shavian Eugenicist.
Shaw asserted Class Warfare [as the state of affairs] Condemning democracy [of the time] as inadiquate due to the ignorance & apathy of workers caused by 'greedy' employers.
Shaw beleived in "Shavian Eugenics" as an eventually Natural Super Man solution; that is, he believed a "Life Force" subconsciously drew women to select superior mates [Classes there-obstructing], for superior children.
Shaw, influenced by Henry George's views on land Nationalization in 1882 concluded private property rights for land was theft, and advocated Equal Distribution of it, and natural resources.
He believed in restricting pay for individuals not only to a single rate for all, [to eliminate poverty], but also limiting pay to only be given to individuals for their labor."You must all know half a dozen people at least who are no use in this world, who are more trouble than they are worth. Just put them there and say Sir, or Madam, now will you be kind enough to justify your existence? If you can’t justify your existence, if you’re not pulling your weight in the social boat, if you’re not producing as much as you consume or perhaps a little more, then, clearly, we cannot use the organizations of our society for the purpose of keeping you alive, because your life does not benefit us and it can’t be of very much use to yourself."The Board to justify your existence along with an entreaty to scientists to invent a 'humane but deadly gas' is construed by some to be 'Ironic Satire', this defense fails to convince most, due to continued lack of all but circumstantial evidence.
Monster or Fool, this concept helped kill 12 Million ppl in the Nazi Germany's Holocaust.
